Give thanks

All too often we get so busy we forget about who’s helped us along the way.

This could be your buddy who referred you for a job opening.

This could be your mentor who gave you advice on interviewing.

This could be your parents who raised you in the best way possible.

Don’t be too busy to thank them. People appreciate knowing they made an impact.

Give thanks (genuinely) – you’ll be surprised to see how people react.

  1. James T says:

Good stuff; thanks. Saying “Thank you” requires humility; it requires knowing that you are not entirely self-sufficient. Our society doesn’t like being on the receiving end of a gift or favor, because it necessitates gratitude. But receiving with thankfulness gets you so much farther than trying to attain everything on your own strength.
